This Course teaches the essential techniques of beauty and corrective make-up for fashion, print, film, and television. The educational objective of this Course is to provide training for those individuals who seek employment as beauty make-up artists. This Course is designed to prepare the student to work as an entry level beauty make-up artist in print, photography, and the fashion and retail industries when taken by itself. Additionally, this Course prepares the student to work at entry level in film, television, and live theater when combined with other courses. A Certificate of Completion is presented upon completion of this Course. This Course meets Monday through Friday, and consists of 160 clock hours. Day sessions are conducted from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, for four weeks. Evening sessions are conducted from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, for eight weeks. Maximum Class Size： 20. |

This Course teaches character development and the fundamental elements of prosthetic application and special make-up effects. This Course teaches the non-beauty techniques of make-up artistry which include old age, bald caps, prosthetic applications, facial hair application, and simulated injuries. This Course, when taken by an experienced make-up artist, as continuing education, will enhance that student’s skill level at their current level of employment. When taken as part of a program (i.e., with Beauty), this Course prepares the student to work as an entry level film and television make-up artist. A Certificate of Completion is presented upon completion of this Course. This Course meets Monday through Friday, and consists of 240 clock hours. Day sessions are conducted from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, for six weeks. Evening sessions are conducted from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, for twelve weeks. Maximum Class Size ： 20. |
